Diane took to the airwaves on ITV’s Good Morning Britain breakfast show today to take part in a discussion about the case of a menopausal woman who was unfairly sacked by her employers – the Scottish court service – then compensated and reinstated after a tribunal which found she was suffering from a ‘disability’.

Menopause Support’s Di Danzebrink was one of  a group of expert speakers at “MegsMenopause conference”, described as “a day of taboo-busting, open conversation and the latest in scientific research on the menopause” in London earlier this week.

Di Danzebrink joined Meg Matthews for an interview at BBC Radio Five Live a few weeks ago while Meg was guest-editing a programme there. Meg has since posted this short video titled “Five things not to say to a menopausal woman” – worth a look!

Recently Di Danzebrink spent the day in Glasgow delivering Menopause Awareness training to the fabulous team at Womens Aid.

The BBC has released details of the Body Language series for BBC3, to be broadcast later this year. More detail about the schedules can be seen here. Menopause Support founder Diane Danzebrink says she has counselled women who have been “shouted at and laughed at” by their family doctors when trying to discuss menopause concerns. She reveals it took several months to get a response in a candid video response to the Royal College of General Practitioners.
