The Menopause conversation is going global

It’s a small world – and this piece from Australia’s Channel 9 current affairs program 60 Minutes proves it.

The discussion on HRT is kicking off in Australia with women talking about their symptoms, a GP with an innovative online treatment system and a well known female comedian Jean Kittson, who has written a book on it that basically says that with the right treatments – including HRT- it can be a liberating and empowering time.

The item also features our own Diane Danzebrink @dianedanzebrink who has campaigned tirelessly for menopause education in the UK and MP Carolyn Harris @carolynharrismp who has lodged a private members bill to ensure changes for the better become a reality.

Diane later told her Instagram followers:  “Very shocked to hear that I was on Australian TV in this programme, had no idea. How fabulous that the menopause conversation is now happening globally!”

The clip comes in towards the end where Diane and Carolyn are interviewed. You can move the play bar back to the beginning to see the entire item or go here to see it on YouTube.
