We have been contacted by Carolyn Harris, Labour shadow Women and Equalities Minister, following Di Danzebrink’s recent appearance on the BBC Victoria Derbyshire news and current affairs show.
Carolyn, MP for Swansea East, will be taking part in a special sitting of Parliament in October on the subject of women’s health.
She has asked us to help her with asking pertinent questions about the way women with menopause symptoms are treated in the workplace, and she will put those questions directly to her opposite number in government.
“What we are looking for are women’s experiences in the workplace, not necessarily just the negative ones , but the good ones as well. For those who have negative experiences, what would have helped to make the situation better? ” said Di.
“I would ask anyone who would like to contribute to the debate to get in touch, and I will make sure their views are passed on to Carolyn Harris” Di added.
