But some days I was so tired I\u2019d go down to the basement car park and sleep in my car for an hour.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The story says that while in recent years, younger women have felt more able to talk openly about the demands of juggling early motherhood with a career, those in midlife \u2014 4.3 million women aged 50 and over now work \u2014 are much less willing to discuss the sleeplessness, anxiety, mood swings and other physical symptoms they struggle to overcome.<\/p>\n<p><strong>One of the major aims of our campaign is to raise awareness within the workplace and we want all employers to have menopause guidelines in place to be able to support women experiencing symptoms.
